About the role

Job Description:

DistribuCloud Technology Services is seeking a Service Desk Dispatcher to be the central point of coordination for our technical support team. This role ensures that incoming service tickets are prioritized, scheduled, and assigned to the appropriate technician, while maintaining excellent communication with clients. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

The Service Desk Dispatcher will receive and review all incoming support requests, determine urgency and priority, and schedule work accordingly. This role involves constant coordination with technicians to ensure workloads are balanced and service commitments are met. The dispatcher will track progress on open tickets, follow up with clients to confirm resolution, and maintain accurate records in our ticketing system. They will also assist with basic administrative tasks related to client service and scheduling.

Qualifications:

Candidates should have strong organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and experience in a customer service or coordination role. Familiarity with IT service processes or working in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment is an asset but not required. A high level of attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential.
