About the role

The Co-op Refinery Complex is hiring an Equipment Mechanic/Pipefitter on a full

time permanent basis. This role requires onsite work located in Regina, SK.  

Shift: 4 days on, then 3 days off -37.33 Hours/week

If you are an experienced Journeyperson Steamfitter/Pipefitter, this is an

What you’ll do

You will efficiently carry out Trade duties as a

Journeyperson Steamfitter/Pipefitter of the Maintenance Department at a Journeyman level of responsibility.  

  • You will complete the maintenance portion of equipment isolations (installation of blanks), equipment repair (heat exchangers, piping systems), new piping installation, and rigging.  

  • You will adhere to all safety protocols and procedures implemented by the Refinery.

Who you are

You are looking for a career in  Production, Trades and Maintenance  and

  • Have a Journeyperson Level Steamfitter/Pipefitter qualification. 

  • Have a minimum of 4 years experience directly related to the required duties. 

  • Have experience directly related to the required duties of the Trade at the Complex, is an asset. 

  • You’re honest and trustworthy, are results oriented and strive to be the best in what you do. 

  • You believe in collaboration, building relationships and value the perspectives of others

This is a unionized role that resides with UNIFOR Canada Local 594 offering a

wage of $66.94 per hour. As a union member, you would be subject to pay union dues as part of the collective agreement.
