1 Day Per Week | Established Patient Demand | Collaborative Multispecialty Team
Scotia Dental, a respected and long-standing practice in the heart of Halifax, is seeking an experienced Orthodontist to join our growing team 1 day per week, ideally Fridays. This is a proactive growth opportunity supported by strong internal referral demand, including from our two in-house Pediatric Dentists. Opportunity Overview
- Position: Orthodontist
- Start Date: Week of February 1, 2026
- Schedule: 1 day per week (Friday preferred) 2–3 operatories provided
- Active Patients: 7,000 total; strong ongoing demand for specialty services
- Technology: Pan/Ceph, Digital X-ray, iTero, Videa Health AI
- Practice Model: Multidisciplinary clinic with strong internal referrals

The ideal candidate is an Orthodontist who is confident managing a steady flow of new and existing patients, communicates clearly, and excels in patient education. About You:
- Graduate from an accredited DDS/DMD Program or successful completion of the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) Equivalency Process
- Registered and in good standing with provincial licensing requirements
- Valid CPR certification
