What You’ll Be Doing
- Accurately weigh and record incoming and outgoing materials using scale systems
- Support safe and efficient site operations through clear communication with drivers, dispatch, and plant personnel via two-way radios and phone
- Maintain organized electronic and written documentation in scale and reporting systems
- Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers and customers at the scale window, delivering professional and efficient customer service while managing daily operational priorities
- Follow safety and environmental procedures to ensure compliance and consistent operational performance
What We Are Looking For
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable using computers, scale software, and digital documentation tools; experience with Microsoft Office and Excel preferred
- Effective communicator who works well with drivers, customers, and team members
- Ability to stay organized, manage multiple priorities, and perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment
- Commitment to safe work practices, reliability, and positive teamwork
- Previous experience in construction materials, logistics, or industrial environments is a plus
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination and background check
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily indoors at the scale window with frequent standing, exposure to elevated noise levels, and proximity to moving mechanical equipment, as well as occasional exposure to outdoor conditions such as inclement weather, heat, cold, and humidity.
