The Opportunity
As a Business Partner, Health System Enablement, you will support evidence informed decision making across our Health System and Model Innovation portfolio. This role plays a critical part in helping the organization understand what is changing in the health system, what is getting in the way of innovation uptake, and what enables success.
The Business Partner brings strong analytical capability, structured problem solving skills, and the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights. Working closely with program teams and senior leaders, you will contribute to strategic intelligence, horizon scanning, and knowledge mobilization, turning data, evidence, and system signals into practical guidance that informs strategy, investment, and program design.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for duties that will include:
Strategic Intelligence & Analytical Insight
- Contribute to horizon scanning and environmental analyses to identify emerging health system trends, innovation opportunities, and adoption challenges.
- Apply structured analytical approaches to synthesize qualitative and quantitative information into meaningful insights, patterns, and implications.
- Support barrier/enabler analyses that inform program design, strategic decisions, and investment approaches across the Health System and Model Innovation portfolio and One Health Division.
- Develop and contribute to intelligence products such as briefs, slide decks, system maps, evidence syntheses, and dashboards.
- Use data to frame problems, test assumptions, and develop evidence informed recommendations.
- Perform ongoing analysis using benchmarks, counterfactuals, and comparative approaches.
- Respond to ad hoc analytical and reporting requests as needed.
Knowledge Mobilization & Decision Support
- Create high quality communication products for senior leaders, including concise briefs, presentations, and insight summaries.
- Translate complex or technical findings into clear, accessible messages that support decision making and action.
- Contribute to the design, testing, and refinement of HSE tools, templates, and frameworks.
- Support program delivery teams in interpreting insights related to innovation uptake, client success, and system level conditions.
Relationship & Capacity Building
- Work collaboratively with internal program teams and corporate partners to understand intelligence needs and ensure outputs are useful and relevant.
- Support stakeholder engagement activities, including meeting preparation, briefing materials, and follow up actions.
Qualifications and Skills
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., health sciences, public health, economics, health informatics, or similar)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data rich or analytically focused roles within health, research, innovation, evaluation, public sector, or related environments
- Demonstrated strength in analysis and synthesis, with experience working across qualitative data, quantitative indicators, and financial or operational metrics
- Experience designing, collecting, analyzing, and presenting data using structured and credible analytical approaches
- Proven ability to communicate complex information clearly to diverse audiences, including senior leaders
- Experience supporting tools, dashboards, or processes used to monitor strategy, performance, or program delivery
- Experience contributing to or supporting change initiatives in complex organizations
- Advanced proficiency with digital platforms and information systems, and the agility to learn new tools as needs evolve
- Strong analytical reasoning and insight generation skills
- Ability to translate complexity into clear, actionable guidance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Collaborative, relationship-oriented approach
- Curiosity and adaptability, with openness to emerging tools (including responsible use of AI)
- Strong organization, prioritization, and multitasking skills
- Comfort working in ambiguous and evolving environments
Preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate)
- Exposure to Microsoft Fabric or similar data platforms (e.g., dataflows, pipelines, Lakehouse datasets)
- Experience supporting or collaborating on Power BI dashboards (e.g., defining requirements, reviewing outputs, or using dashboards for decision making)
