The Data Analyst will be a key player in the Data Enablement Team, facilitating agile development processes and ensuring timely delivery of web analytics solutions to our clients. This role involves enabling the team to implement and maintain digital data capture processes, primarily using Adobe (Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch) and Google Analytics tools (GA4, Google Tag Manager). Collaboration with both internal and external teams to ensure alignment of data capture requirements and project delivery timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute tag management to capture key interactions between the website and digital platforms
- Ensure collected data is available for client’s business consumption and visualization purposes
- Define and design Data Layer objects and workflows, aligning them with the customer experience checkpoints
- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, providing counsel on our client’s analytics infrastructure
- Support in developing strategy for configuring A/B testing, UX tools, and Site Personalization, including execution of strategies to enhance customer recognition
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project priorities and timelines.
- Lead migration projects from UA/GA360 to GA4, including creating implementation plans and developer guides.
- Lead web analytics implementation, testing, and reporting within the Google marketing stack.
Strategic Expectations:
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and meet data capture requirements
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Analytics Tagging, promoting a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement
- Ensure overarching governance, compliance and continued accuracy for third-party tags deployed
- Ensure clarity and understanding of tasks, requests and acceptance criteria
- Partner with the Director of Data Enablement to align analytics implementation with business objectives and requirements.
- Remain open to learning and adapting to new technologies and analytics tools.
Skills and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, website development, or related fields.
- Proven experience in an agile working environment.
- Strong grasp of online marketing and web analytics fundamentals.
- Experienced in digital analytics implementation and data capture processes, preferably with Adobe Marketing Suite and/or Google Marketing Suite.
- Proficient in JavaScript and HTML; experience coding Adobe plugins or creating custom templates in Google Tag Manager is a plus.
- Preferred experience with Angular, React, or similar frameworks.
- Familiarity with digital marketing KPIs and customer experience metrics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Analytical mindset, detail-oriented, and proactive approach to problem-solving.
