Title: Electrical Project Manager
Location: Toronto, ON
Job Type: Full‑Time
The Opportunity Are you an Electrical Project Manager with a strong technical background and a knack for upgrading and replacing critical building systems? We’re looking for a seasoned professional to join the BAIG Team and help deliver complex electrical upgrade and replacement projects. You’ll play a pivotal role in modernizing infrastructure, ensuring seamless collaboration across disciplines and stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
- Lead engineering design for electrical system upgrades and equipment replacements.
- Perform calculations, equipment sizing, and review drawings and specifications for quality and accuracy.
- Maintain schedules, manage budgets, and oversee project deliverables.
- Serve as Contract Administrator, review shop drawings, and respond to site inquiries and change notices.
- Collaborate closely with internal staff, external design teams, contractors, and authorities to drive successful project outcomes
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering and project management for system replacements and equipment upgrades.
- P.Eng. designation or ability to qualify within one year. Senior C.E.T. candidates with comparable experience will also be considered..
- Strong understanding of relevant Codes and Standards (Electrical, CSA, NFPA, IES, ULC).
- Exceptional organizational, technical, and communication skills.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and manage technical and financial complexities.
- LEED accreditation or experience with sustainable design is an asset
