The Role:
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for executing and managing monthly, quarterly, and annual processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret financial statements and assist the Financial Controller in preparation.
- Responsible for executing monthly, quarterly and annual reports and filings.
- Lead the year end inventory count and audit reporting.
- Oversee the entire accounting cycle, including cost accounting activities - standard cost updates, variance analysis, and margin reporting.
- Preparing internal and external financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Monitoring raw material and finished goods inventory balances, reconciling discrepancies with operations.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes with data-driven insights and variance analysis.
- Mentoring and providing guidance to accounting staff regarding the best practices.
- Assisting in compliance with tax filings, audit requests, and regulatory reporting.
- Identifying and driving process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting.
- Support in the creation of departmental controls, SOPs and Governance.
- Assist and lead in Accounting and Organizational wide projects and initiatives.
- Be a subject matter expert in the ERP system.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, internal controls, and industry-specific financial regulations.
Any other duties as assigned by the Financial Controller.
Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor Degree in Accounting or related fields.

CPA designation or pursuing a CPA.

5+ years of experience in fully cycle accounting, preferably in Manufacturing.

Intermediate Excel skills.

Experience with ERP implementation.
