About the role
At SMS Equipment, safety and customer service are at the heart of everything we do. We’re seeking a Customer Service Representative to support our Timmins branch. In this role, you’ll ensure accurate parts ordering, inventory control, and top-tier customer support to keep our clients’ equipment running smoothly.
Location: Timmins, ON
Shift: 5x2, Monday–Friday
Wage: $33.75 per hour, plus comprehensive benefits

Your Role
- Prepare accurate parts estimates, proposals, and maintain updated customer and equipment records.
- Maximize customer interactions to meet or exceed branch sales objectives.
- Verify pricing and availability with suppliers; issue and follow up on purchase orders, including daily and emergency orders.
- Process daily invoices, returns, and customer credits efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness, order, and security in parts and receiving areas; participate in returns, cycle counts, and inventory.
- Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and safety rules, including clear and complete shipping instructions.
What You Bring
- High School Diploma with at least 5 years of experience in a similar position
- Heavy equipment parts experience is an asset
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in MS Office; ERP experience an asset
- Bilingual in French and English is an asset
