Legal Administrator supporting Human Resources
Are you an organized legal professional who enjoys variety and thrives in a fast-paced business environment? Our client, a respected and growing hospitality organization in the Niagara Region, is seeking a Legal Administrator to join its Corporate Office. This unique opportunity combines corporate legal administration with a small Human Resources component, making it ideal for someone who enjoys managing legal documentation, corporate compliance, governance, licensing, and contracts while supporting recruitment and onboarding. As the Legal Administrator, you'll play a key role supporting corporate operations by coordinating legal and governance activities across multiple business entities. Responsibilities include: Managing annual corporate filings, resolutions, and corporate records Coordinating business registrations, renewals, and corporate compliance Maintaining various licences and regulatory requirements, including liquor, signage, patio, elevator, and related municipal licences Assisting with commercial lease administration, tenant documentation, insurance tracking, and amendments Supporting intellectual property administration and business registrations Assisting with dispute management and legal documentation as required Coordinating monthly, quarterly, and annual administrative processes for multiple entities Maintaining accurate corporate records and documentation
In addition, you'll support the Human Resources team by: Assisting with recruitment and onboarding activities Posting career opportunities and coordinating interviews Preparing employment documentation and new hire packages Supporting employer branding and occasional recruitment initiatives
We're looking for a highly organized professional who enjoys managing multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
Qualifications include: Diploma or degree in Legal Administration, Law Clerk, Paralegal, or a related discipline Experience supporting corporate legal administration or governance functions Strong understanding of corporate records, legal documentation, compliance, and licensing Excellent organizational and document management skills Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities Ability to manage multiple deadlines with professionalism and discretion Proficiency with Microsoft Office Experience supporting Human Resources or recruitment is considered an asset
