Working with Richardson opens the door to a world of possibility. We currently have an opportunity for an EDI & Integration Technical Analyst at our Innovation Centre in Winnipeg . As a member of the EDI & Integration team, this role is responsible for monitoring EDI transactions, resolving transmission issues, maintaining trading partner configurations, and ensuring accurate data exchange across systems.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and troubleshoot daily inbound/outbound EDI transactions, ensuring timely resolution
  • Manage trading partner setups, communication protocols, and EDI document mappings
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve data discrepancies and integration issues
  • Support data transformation, mapping, and validation processes for standard EDI documents for Order to Cash, Procurement and Warehousing
  • Work closely with the Manager, EDI & Integrations on system updates, migrations, and onboarding & testing of new partners
  • Maintain documentation on EDI processes, data flows, and troubleshooting procedures
  • Recommend and implement process improvements and automation to optimize workflows

Qualifications

  • Diploma/Bachelor’s in IT or related field with 2–4 years’ EDI experience
  • Knowledge of standards and transaction sets (X12, EDIFACT) and protocols like AS2, FTP/SFTP, VAN and integrations APIs
  • Experience with EDI tools, translators, or platforms (e.g. Cleo, SPS Commerce, iTrade, Tungsten)
  • Experience with testing and validation, ensuring data translations are accurate and EDI formats align with partner specifications
  • Error handling experience, troubleshoot transaction issues, ticketing and monitoring tools like Jira or ServiceNow
  • Knowledge of data formats (XML, CSV, JSON), mapping, and basic SQL/database queries
  • Experience with ERP systems (IFS a plus) and Supply Chain/Finance-related EDI processes
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with cross-team collaboration
