Inside Sales & Customer Service Manager (Valves & Automation) Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Inside Sales & Customer Service Manager to lead our customer support operations within North America, focusing on the Canadian market. This influential role combines team leadership, technical support, and sales collaboration to ensure exceptional customer experience, drive business growth, and maintain efficient operational processes in the valves, flow control, and automation systems industry.

Inside Sales & Customer Service Manager (Valves & Automation) Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop, and mentor the inside sales and customer service teams to deliver high performance and excellent service standards.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Canadian customers, handling RFQs, technical inquiries, and resolving customer issues with professionalism and urgency.
  • Coordinate with sales, engineering, operations, and production teams to align efforts and improve service quality.
  • Support sales efforts by collaborating with external sales representatives, developing new market opportunities, and helping formulate national sales strategies.
  • Provide technical expertise by reviewing specifications, interpreting technical documentation, and supporting product-related inquiries.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales metrics, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency; prepare relevant reports.
  • Manage documentation related to quotes, orders, and deliveries while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Inside Sales & Customer Service Manager (Valves & Automation) Position Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of leadership or supervisory experience, along with over 10 years of customer support or inside sales experience within industrial or manufacturing settings.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with familiarity in valves, piping, HVAC, or flow control systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with fluency in both English and French.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe PDF tools, and CRM/ERP/MRP systems.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within North America and on-site work schedule flexibility.

Inside Sales & Customer Service Manager (Valves & Automation) Preferred Position Requirements:

  • College diploma required; a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Technical understanding of industrial products and specifications.
  • Experience with digital marketing tools and systems optimization.
