Position Information The University of Ottawa Heart Institute is seeking a high energy, flexible, and dynamic healthcare leader to join its team in an exciting opportunity to serve as a Manager, Regional Surgical Triage.

What You Will Do Reporting to the Director, Critical Care and Cardiac Procedures, the Manager, Regional Surgical Triage provides leadership, direction and supervision for surgery within the regional triage department.
This includes ensuring compliance in the delivery of patient care according to the professional standards and regulatory requirements, that all aspects of the service area are fully integrated, that the services are provided safely and at the highest quality of care, and that corporate priorities and initiatives are managed effectively. This position will oversee initiatives that improve patient experience, staff experience, and program efficiency.
What You Will Bring
- Masters in Nursing, Administration or Education with an undergraduate in Nursing;
- Current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses, RNAO and CCCN;
- Five years of recent related clinical experience;
- Expert level practice skill and advanced practice experience;
- Previous research or evaluation experience;
- Previous leadership and program development experience;
- Ability or experience with regional activities;
- BCLS certificate;
- Proficiency in English and French - oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level).
Language proficiency requirements are based on the nature of the position and the level of interaction with French and English speaking clients.
