About the role
We're seeking a driven and resourceful Associate Brand Manager to join our Snacks team. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a significant portion of our Canadian snacks business, focusing on channel growth and category expansion. You'll play a key role in identifying new opportunities, launching innovative products, and driving growth within the Canadian market.
As an Associate Brand Manager, you will be a key player in driving the growth of our snacks portfolio through strategic channel management and category expansion initiatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of our snack offerings in Canada, with a focus on bringing exciting new products to market.
Key Responsibilities
- Channel and Category Expansion: Drive growth within key channels and identify opportunities to expand our snacks portfolio into new and exciting categories.
- Project Management: Lead cross-functional teams in the evaluation, development, and commercialization of new snack products, from initial concept to launch.
- Analytical Insights: Analyze market trends, consumer data, and financial performance to identify opportunities and make data-driven recommendations. Leverage US data and historical trends to inform strategies for new product launches.
- Sales Partnership: Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and develop strategies to maximize sales and distribution.
- Financial Management: Support budget management and analyze product-level P&L to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Strategy Execution: Execute brand strategies and 12Q plans, including innovation, brand renovation, and packaging design, to achieve financial and volume targets.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with US counterparts to inform long-term brand strategy and execute shared projects.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years of experience in CPG, food & beverage, or a related industry. MBA a plus.
- Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Resourceful and independent worker with a can-do attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- Experience working in a large, matrixed organization.
- Understanding of P&L mechanics and budget management.
- A passion for the snacks category and a desire to bring innovative products to market.
