General Description The National Accounts Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for our clients, providing end-to-end support throughout the customer journey. This individual is responsible for receiving and responding to service inquiries and issues via phone and email, ensuring prompt and effective resolution. They accurately document account activity, address customer concerns, and collaborate with internal sales teams to support coordinated selling efforts. In addition, the representative regularly reviews customer accounts, identifies opportunities to expand services, and converts inbound inquiries into upgraded or new business.
As a customer service representative with us, the minimum responsibilities are:
- Respond to customer service and sales inquiries via email using professional written communication.
- Educate customers on service options, pricing, billing procedures, and contract terms.
- Manage mid to high complexity customer service inquiries and transactions with accuracy.
- Establish customer accounts by negotiating and documenting service details, pricing, and billing information.
- Confirm and clarify customer needs, concerns, and requests.
- Act as a customer advocate by resolving issues through coordination with internal departments.
- Retain customers by addressing cancellation reasons and offering suitable service alternatives.
- Promote and cross-sell Waste Connections of Canada products and environmental solutions.
- Provide quotes and close sales with prospective customers using product and service knowledge.
- Meet departmental standards for quality, productivity, safety, and timeliness.
- Utilize TRUX business software effectively for daily operations.
- Generate and deliver standard reports as requested by management.
What We Need From You
- High School Diploma or BED (accredited)
- Work experience in a customer service or call centre environment preferred; handling customer requests, account or order changes, and issues
- Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to manage customer interactions, track inquiries, and support sales and service processes (TRUX is preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
