Marketing Specialist, 18-month contract

As part of the KPMG National Marketing team, the Marketing Specialist provides support in the areas of content marketing, internal and external communications, digital marketing, webcasting, market research, email marketing list coordination, CRM management, client-facing events and other market-positioning activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong, tactical, self-starter who is interested in further developing their strategic marketing skillset
What You Will Do
- Coordinate the rollout of external campaigns and programs, nationally
- Proactively maintain a focus on marketing projects, and identify and provide recommendations for improved efficiencies
- Assist in the production of marketing collateral, webcasts, email campaigns, web content and social media campaigns with in-house creative and digital marketing teams
- Support specific events, including event management logistics—critical path development, invitation development and distribution, registration management, list management/creation, distribution of follow-up reports and other related support as needed
- Collaborate with in-house digital marketing team to maintain website, drive social media content and aspects of our marketing campaigns and programs
- Create, develop and manage content for our internal portals
- Research as well as coordinate and gather information necessary to develop presentations, fact sheets, and other marketing collateral, as required
- Participate in initiatives to help advance collaboration across functions, industries, and regions to share and leverage best practices and enhance overall marketing efficiencies
- Maintain lists in KPMG’s CRM database, SalesForce Engage, and execute external communications through KPMG’s lead generation tools, such as ExactTarget and Cvent
What You Bring To The Role
- 2 to 3 years’ experience in marketing in a national or global organization (B2B, agency, professional services and/or financial services experience preferred)
- Diploma or undergraduate degree, preferably in marketing, business and/or communications
- Strong digital and integrated marketing experience demonstrated in a professional environment
- Must be a highly efficient, detail-oriented, quick learner and self-starter who is eager to develop professionally
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and organizational skills
- Must be a team player and an active participant and contributor to marketing meetings
- Ability to work independently to meet deadlines
- Confident in providing support and recommendations to senior leadership
- Superior project management skills—MUST be able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong social and digital media acumen with deep experience in managing these aspects of campaigns
- Innovative mindset that actively disrupts in order to improve what we do
KPMG Ontario Region Pay Range Information The expected base salary range for this position is $55,000 to $82,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
