Description What you’ll be doing

As a volunteer tutor with the National Tutoring Honor Society, you will provide one-on-one academic support to fellow students in subjects where they need help. Responsibilities include explaining concepts, assisting with assignments, and creating a supportive learning environment. This role helps you develop leadership, communication, and teamwork skills while making a positive impact on your school community.

Who Can Join:

  • Open to 9th–12th graders who are genuinely interested
  • 3.0+ GPA required
  • No prior tutoring experience needed

Commitment:

  • Flexible schedule—you choose when to tutor
  • Each session is 30–40 minutes
  • Minimum of 15 hours per school year
