About the role
Position Summary:
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Production Analyst is responsible for the support, reporting and administrative duties for daily, weekly and monthly production tasks at the Goreway facility. Provide data analysis to support inventory levels in finished goods and raw materials for more efficient production planning. Actively participate in the development of new inventory tool tooling such as AS400.
Key Accountabilities:
- Responsible for creating and firm work orders for the manufacturing plant
- Responsible for daily Production Reporting at the Goreway facility
- Work closely with the Production Planner to improve the production planning process
- Review of the daily plan performance against manufacturing standards
- Responsible for filing paperwork, closing work orders and cycle count verifications
- Review daily material consumption to ensure that it is accurate and reconcile differences with Production Supervisors, if necessary
- Maintain continuous communication with the Production team to verify information about standards, machinery and labour to ensure smooth production planning
- Responsible for tracking materials and yields, placing supply orders, logistics of incoming and outbound loads.
- Coordinates scheduled and schedule changes with Procurement to ensure there is no interruption in line operations
- Completes real time reliability data entry
- Work in strict compliance with Food Safety and Quality programs and procedures

Requirements:
- 2-3 years’ experience with Scheduling processes, Material Planning and Forecasting methodologies
- Post-Secondary education in an Engineering discipline. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is preferred (Industrial, Material, Food Science)
- CPIM designation as asset
- Experience with ERP (MRP/MPS) is a must
- Prefer a self-motivated articulate individual with strong analytical skills who can work well within a team environment at all levels of the organization in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment
- Must possess a proactive attitude and have the ability to produce accurate work and meet deadlines
