The IT Operation Professional - Infrasctructure performs a broad range of IT operations (including software installation and integration, update and release management, application customizing, change request evaluation and implementation, etc ) to ensure that given IT Operations of infrastructure landscapes are kept available to the business.

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a self-starter to join its Canadian IT team as an IT Operations Analyst – Infrastructure. This hybrid, full-time position (3 days in-office, 2 days remote) reports directly to the Country IT Manager.

In this role, you will serve as a key resource driving IT operations and infrastructure maintenance in alignment with approved procedures, standards, and best practices. You’ll be joining a global healthcare technology leader with more than 70,000 employees worldwide, and you will have opportunities for professional growth—including developing skills in IT automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform IT operations and maintenance activities in line with established procedures, guidelines, and standards.
  • Contribute to planning, designing, and implementing infrastructure and application landscapes.
  • Support customization and continuous improvement of IT operations and maintenance processes.
  • Advise management on IT operations, infrastructure performance, and maintenance matters.
  • Implement programs and procedures to ensure information security and operational safety.
  • Execute operational tests and document new or updated processes.
  • Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and central IT teams to resolve issues.
  • Manage and support core IT infrastructure on-site and regionally.
  • Perform complex installations, integrations, and maintenance in areas such as networking, workplace technology, telecommunications, and infrastructure applications.
  • Define and maintain service levels to meet business requirements.
  • Identify and resolve IT issues proactively to minimize user impact.
  • Provide 2nd-level help desk support, including individual coaching and user training.
  • Support financial control of IT infrastructure spend through sound monitoring and reporting.
  • Stay current on industry trends and advancements in IT operations and infrastructure.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven hands-on experience in Microsoft environments.
  • Practical experience with frontline support for iOS and Android mobile devices.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to separate facts from marketing claims.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and simply.
  • Empathy and patience in supporting business users from diverse backgrounds.
  • A builder mindset: curiosity, adaptability, and independent problem-solving.
  • A willingness to expand skill set into new areas such as networking, automation through Microsoft Power Platforms.
  • Collaborative and feedback-driven, with comfort working in a fast-paced

The annual base pay for this position is:

Min $64,000 - Max $114,000

Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Siemens Healthineers offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay.
