Senior .NET Developer – Brussels (Hybrid)
Location: Brussels (2–3 days onsite, rest remote)
Start date: 13 October 2025
Citizenship: EU only
Languages: English (C2) + Dutch (C1) or French (C1)

We are looking for a Senior .NET Developer to join Belgian Railways within the Transport Execution Management domain. You will design and build high-quality, well-tested software solutions in close collaboration with solution designers and business stakeholders.
This is a role for an experienced professional who can take full ownership, communicate clearly, and combine independence with teamwork. Professionalism, initiative, and constructive collaboration are key to success.
Mandatory requirements
- 5+ years of .NET development experience
- 3+ years of Azure Cloud development
- 3+ years of .NET Core Web API development
- Strong expertise in unit testing
- Available minimum 2 days/week onsite in Brussels
- Fluent English (C2) + Dutch or French (C1)
Preferred Skills
- Mastery of the .NET ecosystem (LINQ, async/await, security practices, data structures & patterns)
- Strong coding standards: clean, maintainable, and SOLID code
- Web API design & development with .NET Core
- Azure services, PaaS, and event-driven architectures
- CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, Docker
- SQL & relational database design and optimization
- Git & version control (branching strategies, collaboration best practices)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
