About the role

Framerz Inc. Prefab & Lumber Manager Location: Crossfield, Alberta (on-site)

Eligibility : Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Build the Department the Way We Build Our Projects, Right the First Time. Framerz Inc. has launched a new Prefab & Lumber division with multimillion-dollar contracts secured. We are building a disciplined production department from the ground up.

We also hire leaders who are Hungry, Humble, and Smart. At a high level, you are responsible for operational leadership, production accountability, and financial performance of the Prefab & Lumber division. You will design workflows, enforce standards, lead people, and report results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive efficiency and workflow execution within the prefab shop
  • Enforce accountability to production schedules, quality standards, and operational targets
  • Organize and oversee maintenance of buildings, equipment, and machinery
  • Manage the shipping fleet (currently 2 trucks, with a 3rd coming online) and drivers
  • Track lumber usage, waste, and inventory accuracy
  • Report KPIs and own full department P&L performance
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements
  • Build systems that scale with growth, not ones that break under pressure
  • As the division scales, this department is expected to grow to approximately 40 people. This role is about building leaders, not just supervising labor.

Qualifications

  • Experience in construction, production, or operations management
  • Prior responsibility for teams and operational outcomes
  • Strong organizational and process discipline
  • Experience tracking KPIs and managing performance
  • P&L ownership or financial accountability experience preferred
  • Ability to lead through clarity, standards, and follow-through

Pay & Benefits

  • Full-time, permanent employee position
  • Pay CA$100,000 to CA$120,000 per year, based on experience
  • Vacation and statutory holidays per Alberta Employment Standards
