As they continue to grow, they are seeking an accomplished General Manager to lead one of their Toronto locations and oversee all aspects of sales, service, people, and operational performance.
This is an opportunity for a dynamic retail or service leader who thrives in a large-scale, customer-focused environment. The ideal candidate will bring experience managing complex operations, leading high-performing teams, driving sales growth, and maintaining exceptional standards. They are a confident and visible leader who can inspire teams, build strong relationships with customers, and partner effectively with senior leadership and key stakeholders. The General Manager will play a critical role in shaping the success of the location, creating an engaging team culture, and delivering an exceptional customer experience while ensuring operational excellence across the business.
Salary:$70K +Bonus
Description
Lead the overall sales, service, operational, and financial performance of the location. Coach, motivate, and develop a high-performing team focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences. Establish clear performance expectations and hold team members accountable for results. Drive revenue growth through strong sales leadership, customer engagement, and disciplined execution. Monitor business performance, identify opportunities, and implement strategies to improve results. Oversee staffing, scheduling, training, performance management, and succession planning. Ensure the property is maintained to the highest standards of presentation, cleanliness, safety, and organization. Maintain effective inventory, administrative, security, and operational controls. Build strong relationships with customers and resolve concerns with professionalism and sound judgment. Work closely with senior leadership and ownership to support company objectives and location-specific priorities. Represent the organization confidently during executive visits, special events, and interactions with key stakeholders. Foster a positive, accountable, and service-driven workplace culture.
Requirements
Proven leadership experience as a General Manager, Store Manager, or senior operations leader in the service industry sector. Experience managing a large-format, high-volume, or operationally complex business. Strong track record of driving sales, service, profitability, and operational performance. Demonstrated ability to recruit, coach, develop, and retain high-performing teams. Confident executive presence and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Strong financial and business acumen, including experience reviewing budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics. Exceptional organization, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. High standards of professionalism, presentation, and customer service. Ability to lead through change and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment. Flexible availability based on the needs of the business.
