Role Summary:

Our Finance Team is looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join the team. This position is responsible for accurately applying incoming payments to customer accounts, resolving unapplied cash issues, and maintaining thorough documentation. This role works closely with other finance team and branches to ensure our accounts reflect true customer activity and support our collection efforts.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Manage the Accounts Receivable email inbox

Depositing cheques into the appropriate bank account

Accurately match and post incoming payments (cheques, EFT, wire transfers, credit

card payments) to appropriate customer accounts and invoices on a timely basis

Research and resolve unidentified or misapplied payments.

Switchboard relief

Support other accounting functions as needed

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

Excellent attention to details

Minimum 1-2 years of experience

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel proficiency required.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent interpersonal abilities.

Ability to work collaboratively and independently, managing multiple priorities and

adapt to a fast-paced and continuously changing environment.
