JOB SUMMARY:
To provide non-nursing clinical support to patients, families and staff at the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre. Responsibilities include providing assistance to patients, families and center staff in preparing for clinical examinations, responding to inquiries from patients, families, physicians and staff members as appropriate; distributing materials, ordering supplies, running errands etc. and to provide relief and support for Nursing Attendant Outpatient Clinics.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing and to work collaboratively within a team of caregivers.
General good health and a level of fitness appropriate for the demands of the position
EDUCATION/TRAINING EXPERIENCE:
Grade 12 Education - required;
Recent practical clinical related experience would be considered an asset
Completion of a recognized Health Care Aide/Personal Support Worker course required

About Windsor Regional Hospital
Windsor Regional Hospital is one of the largest hospitals in the Province of Ontario, serving a population of 400,000 people in Windsor and Essex County. The ultimate vision is to design and construct a new state-of-the-art acute hospital healthcare facility serving the needs of Windsor-Essex for generations to come.
Providing Acute Care Services with 650 plus beds and an operating budget of half of a billion dollars, Windsor Regional Hospital is one of the largest community based non-academic hospitals in the Province of Ontario.
