Position Overview:
The Bill of Material Coordinator is responsible for preparing detailed bill of materials for all REV built products and controlling all inventory part numbers within our ERP software (Microsoft NAV). The Bill of Material Coordinator will review completed designs and liaison with the project group to ensure that all customer requirements are captured.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed Bill of Materials in Excel and/or NAV under the guidance of the Design Manager and design team.
- Responsible for the accuracy of the Bills of Materials.
- Provide completed bill of materials to PMO.
- Manage inventory part numbers in NAV.
- Assist design team in the identification and sourcing of materials.
- Assist the Supply Chain department with selection of vendors.
- Coordinate and enter any additional part numbers as determined through the assembly process.
- Audit Bill of Materials information for accuracy and completeness.
- Performs duties according to REV’s quality system procedures and work instructions.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Technical knowledge of product structure and processes, understanding of BOM and the product specification.
- Good computer skills (Fluent in Microsoft Excel).
- Strong desire to learn.
- Willingness to research components and identify product alternatives when required.
- Be an effective change agent in driving a positive work culture.
- Ability to communicate and interact with others in a positive and constructive manner while building. credibility and rapport in the working relationship.
- Ability to influence and inspire others by working as part of a team.
