About the role

Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Experienced Dental Receptionist to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient front desk experience. Your expertise in dental office management, , and proficiency with various EMR (Electronic Dental Records) systems will be essential to streamline patient intake, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and medical billing processes. Your energetic approach and exceptional customer service skills will help create a positive environment that promotes patient satisfaction and operational excellence.

Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesay Thursdays 1 to 7ish and alternating Saturdays

Duties

  • Greet patients warmly and manage patient check-in and check-out procedures with professionalism and efficiency
  • Schedule appointments accurately using dental practice management software such as Paradigm (logictech)
  • Verify insurance coverage, process claims, and handle dental billings
  • Answer multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette while managing appointment requests and patient inquiries
  • Perform insurance verification, pre-authorizations, and follow-up on outstanding claims or payments
  • Assist with intake procedures, including collecting patient information and explaining treatment procedures
  • Manage filing of medical records, documentation review, and data entry using Microsoft Office tools and health information management software
  • Support office management tasks such as clerical duties, dental office experience tasks, and maintaining a clean, organized front desk environment

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist with clinic or dental office experience
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology, dental coding.
  • Familiarity with systems such as Paradigm (logictech)
  • Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and office management software
  • Ability to handle sensitive detal information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional phone etiquette
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation review and data accuracy
  • Prior clinic or experience is preferred to ensure smooth workflow integration
