About the role

We are seeking a Treasury Intern to join our Treasury team for an 8-month period

commencing on September 1st, 2026, at our Vancouver corporate office. In this role, you will mainly be responsible for performing vendor callbacks which is one of West Fraser’s key controls against fraud. The ideal candidate will be self-confident, possess excellent communication skills, and represent West Fraser’s values when speaking to vendors.

You'll do

  • Performing vendor callbacks as part of key controls against fraud
  • Working with business partners to ensure accurate update of vendor records
  • Where possible, help identify opportunities to improve processes currently in place for duties performed
  • Other ad hoc treasury-related analysis as required

You have

  • Self-confidence
  • Excellent communication skills and comfortable making phone calls 
  • Detail oriented when researching vendor information
  • Represent West Fraser’s values when speaking to vendors.
  • In the process of obtaining a Finance, Accounting, Economics or related degree.

Work Conditions

  • Office-based
  • Potential for occasional on-call duties
  • May require some evening and weekend work for system maintenance and updates

What We Offer

  • The salary range for this position may vary depending on experience, education, and location. The annual salary range is $39,000 to $44,000.
