About the Role

This position has ahybrid work arrangement. Please note that this is subject to change due to business priorities.

As ATB’s next Enterprise Identity Analystyou will be a strong team player with a knack for solving complex problems and translating technical information into action items. You’ll be accountable for assessing current Identity and Access processes and working with the team to implement IAM best practices. You will quickly become an expert in existing access workflows and work in partnership with the larger Enterprise Identity & Application Security team to develop new ones. Because cybersecurity operates beyond a standard 9-to-5, this role requires participation in an after-hours on-call rotation and schedule flexibility, which we actively support with a mutual give-and-take approach to your working hours.

Accountabilities

  • Experience with Privileged Access management, Identity Provider configuration, Access control systems, Automation and a desire for continuous improvement will be crucial to success in this role.
  • Act as a representative of the Enterprise Identity & Application Security team working to promote strong partnerships with teams and stakeholders that are dependent on our services.
  • Promote secure access management practices across the organization.
  • Experience automating mass directory changes in Active Directory with Powershell.
  • Experience with managing a multi tenant Okta environment including account lifecycle, role assignments, Okta Identity Governance and Okta Workflows.
  • Manage and maintain user identities and access controls within Okta, ensuring compliance with security policies.
  • Implement and monitor identity and access management solutions for Google Cloud Platform (GCP) resources.
  • Oversee and troubleshoot identity synchronization across various on-premise systems and directories (e.g., Active Directory).
  • Perform regular access reviews and certification across Okta, GCP, and on-prem platforms.
  • Investigate and resolve identity-related incidents and service requests for all supported platforms.
  • Develop and update documentation related to identity and access procedures for Okta, GCP, and on-prem environments.
  • Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure all identity solutions adhere to regulatory requirements.

Skills, Experience & Requirements

Core Requirements (Must-Haves):

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or actively pursuing industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, SSCP, or Google PCSE).
  • Minimum of 3 years of general experience in an IT Enterprise environment, specifically within Identity & Access Management (IAM).
  • Hands-on experience with Okta, including Okta Workflows, SSO, and Okta Identity Governance.
  • Deep familiarity with authentication protocols including SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and LDAP.
  • Strong understanding of the NIST framework and core security principles, such as the Principle of Least Privilege (PoLP).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to translate complex technical access controls into clear business terms.
  • Strong research and troubleshooting skills with a knack for mapping and improving technical processes.

Desired Assets (Nice-to-Haves):

  • Experience with IAM in a multi-forest Active Directory environment.
  • Familiarity with Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions.
  • Knowledge of IAM governance and regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX, GDPR) and experience performing access reviews.
  • Proficiency in Python, Shell scripting, or API integration to automate identity lifecycle management.
  • Familiarity with Windows, MacOS, and Linux environments.
  • Experience working within ServiceNow or environments following ITIL v4 standards.
