As Director of Sales, Amazon Connect, you will take a leading role in building and scaling a world-class sales organization within one of the most dynamic areas of cloud and AI innovation. This is a high-impact role where you’ll shape go-to-market strategy, forge strategic partnerships, and drive revenue growth by collaborating closely with Amazon Connect and AWS teams. You’ll work cross-functionally with leadership in marketing, sales engineering, delivery, product, and HR to establish best practices and accelerate market dominance. If you are a proven sales leader with strong expertise in contact center technologies, this role offers the opportunity to drive transformational growth in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Accountabilities
- Build and leverage a strong Amazon Connect and Salesforce network to accelerate pipeline and revenue growth.
- Cultivate executive-level relationships with Amazon partners, account teams, and product leadership to strengthen market presence.
- Develop and execute a go-to-market plan to establish the brand as a top partner for Amazon Connect.
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team aligned with growth objectives.
- Partner with marketing, product, and sales engineering teams to deliver compelling content, solution packages, and customer success stories.
- Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure high-quality deployments and client satisfaction, creating strong references and long-term partnerships.
- Drive cross-functional initiatives with HR, L&D, and Managed Services to enhance certifications, partner levels, and recurring revenue opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven track record in building and leading successful sales teams within the contact center or telephony ecosystem.
- Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Established network within Amazon and experience in the Salesforce ecosystem preferred.
- 4+ years of sales leadership experience, ideally with expertise in Service Cloud or voice solutions.
- Self-starter with energy, drive, and thought leadership to motivate teams and exceed targets.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% as needed.
