We do this through IT systems, processes, and financial knowledge. Implementing our software by way of high-quality projects is at the core of what we do. To introduce our software to our clients, and deliver the outcomes they will adopt, business consultants are essential to us.
In the role of Director, Professional Services you will drive significant results by leading teams and managing complex projects that impact the broader consulting function. With typically 10+ years of experience in professional services or a related field, this role provides strategic input, oversees team performance, and ensures alignment with organizational goals. The Director collaborates with executive leadership and engages in complex interactions with clients and stakeholders, driving innovation and improvements to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
What you will be responsible for :
Client Delivery and Relationship Management
- Oversee professional services teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic objectives.
- Manage complex interactions with senior stakeholders and key clients, ensuring clear communication and trusted partnerships.
- Act as the executive sponsor for SimCorp Dimension implementations across the U.S. and Canada, providing leadership and guidance to both client and internal teams.
Team Leadership and Collaboration
- Identify, recruit, and retain top industry talent to build a high-performing consulting team.
- Lead, mentor, and develop delivery consultants and stream leads, fostering a culture of accountability, growth and client success.
- Monitor team outcomes, set strategic direction, and implement initiatives to improve delivery quality and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with global delivery, product, and operations teams to ensure seamless regional and global client experiences.
- Promote best practices and continuous learning across teams to maintain consistent standards and innovation.
Execution and Operational Excellence
- Design and implement improvements that enhance efficiency and scalability in service delivery.
- Ensure team activities support SimCorp’s long-term goals and operational strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet client needs and drive business value
Strategic Contribution
- Drive strategic initiatives and provide recommendations to enhance service offerings and operational excellence
- Partner with sales and account teams to shape proposals, providing delivery insights that strengthen client confidence.
What We Value
- Minimum 10 years in financial services, consulting, or software delivery, with at least 5 years leading teams or managing complex projects in financial markets.
- Demonstrated ability to inspire, engage, and develop high-performing teams while driving accountability and results.
- Skilled at cultivating strong client and stakeholder relationships that foster trust and long-term partnerships.
- Ability to balance quality, cost, risk, and resources to deliver optimal outcomes under pressure.
- Hands-on experience managing project budgets, forecasting, and reporting to ensure financial health and transparency.
- Familiarity with enterprise financial platforms; knowledge of SimCorp Dimension is a strong advantage.
- Deep understanding of project governance, planning, and execution methodologies.
- Exceptional time management and prioritization skills to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Ability to clearly articulate ideas and influence outcomes through effective presentations and interpersonal engagement.
- Strong negotiation, persuasion, and conflict resolution skills to drive successful delivery and client satisfaction.
- Based in Toronto with the ability to attend the office at least two days per week.

For Toronto only: The salary range for this position is $195,000 - $243,000 CAD. Base pay may vary based on factors such as years of experience, skills and qualifications. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and benefits including health and dental care, time off and Group RRSP/TFSA.
