CNC Field Service Engineer Position Type: Full-Time

What You’ll Do (The Day-to-Day): As the ultimate point of escalation for complex machine issues, you will: Be the Hero on the Ground: Travel to customer facilities to install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair Matsuura machines and controls. Share Your Expertise: Provide elite-level training to distributors and customers, and offer remote support via phone and email. Solve the Hard Stuff: Dig into technical documents, manuals, and vendor resources to crack complex technical challenges that go beyond standard distributor knowledge. Document and Improve: Keep detailed records of repairs and feedback to share with management and customers, and author technical bulletins and repair manuals. Stay Ahead of the Curve: Maintain an expert-level understanding of the CNC machine tool industry and Matsuura’s innovative product line. What You Bring to the Table: The Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical/electrical repair, maintenance, and programming with a CNC machine tool builder or distributor. (Factory maintenance technicians with strong CNC backgrounds are welcome to apply!) The Brainpower: Strong analytical skills with the ability to easily read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics. Control Expertise: FANUC experience is required. If you also know Yaskawa and/or Siemens, that’s a major plus. Education: A 2-year technical degree (ideally in electrical engineering or robotics) is highly preferred. The Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills—you can break down complex technical issues for any audience. The Fundamentals: Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job, a willingness to travel consistently, and the ability to pass a standard criminal background check. Apply Today!
