Interested? We are looking for our next**Team Leader – Pricing (Air & Ocean)**to join our team in downtown Montreal.
Do you have solid experience in pricing, bid management, and pricing strategy in international transportation, and enjoy leading a team to achieve concrete results? At Axxess, your expertise will have a direct impact on the competitiveness of our offers and the growth of our client accounts.

Your main tasks will be to:
- Supervise and support a team of pricing specialists, ensuring the quality, consistency, and competitiveness of quotes.
- Manage strategic bids and tenders in air and marine transportation, coordinating responses and developing competitive pricing strategies.
- Collaborate closely with the Business Development team to support sales, participate in client meetings, and present pricing strategies.
- Analyze market trends and carrier rate changes to adjust pricing strategies and maximize profitability.
- Manage and prioritize a high volume of quote requests, including strategic or high-value opportunities.
- Allocate requests and monitor the team's workload, productivity, and quote quality.
- Maintain a balance between production and supervision by actively contributing to quotes while supporting the team on complex cases.
What we are looking for:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally with a freight forwarder.
- Market expertise: Strong knowledge of air and ocean freight markets, pricing dynamics, and bid management.
- Business acumen: Ability to develop competitive pricing strategies while ensuring profitability and growth of client accounts.
- Leadership and organization: Ability to motivate a team, prioritize requests, and maintain a high level of performance in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Bilingualism in French and English (spoken and written) and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and clients.
