Title: QA/QC Lead Engineer

Location: Longueuil, QC Duration: 12 months Pay range: $80-$95 per hour

JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is seeking a QA/QC Engineering Lead for a leading industrial client. This individual will act as the quality authority across a portfolio of multidisciplinary engineering projects, ensuring that all engineering deliverables, project activities, and contractor work meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and operational excellence. The successful candidate will develop and implement quality management strategies, oversee inspections and audits, review technical deliverables, and drive consistency across multiple engineering disciplines. This role requires a strong background in industrial project delivery, quality systems implementation, technical leadership, and stakeholder management. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented engineering professional who thrives in complex environments and is passionate about building a strong culture of quality and continuous improvement.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related discipline)
• 10–15 years of engineering experience, including substantial QA/QC experience on industrial projects
• Significant experience implementing QA/QC systems and quality management frameworks
• Experience managing quality throughout multidisciplinary engineering projects
• Experience supervising engineering consultants, vendors, and contractors
• Strong experience working in industrial environments (mining or heavy industry preferred)
• Ability to structure and implement robust quality assurance and quality control processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Experience supporting projects across all engineering phases: Concept Pre-feasibility Feasibility Detailed Engineering Execution Commissioning -Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with changing priorities -Strong leadership and stakeholder influencing skills -Excellent communication, collaboration, attention to detail, and organizational skills

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience in mining, metals, manufacturing, or other heavy industrial sectors
• Continuous improvement and quality management system optimization experience
