This is a client-facing, relationship-driven inside sales role within the investment and capital markets space, focused on building strong partnerships with financial advisors, portfolio managers, and institutional stakeholders. You will play a key role in expanding market share by educating advisors on alternative investment offerings and supporting the distribution of private market products. Working closely with senior sales leadership, you will help develop territory strategies, execute proactive outreach, and strengthen long-term investor relationships. The role blends business development, relationship management, and financial product education in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. You will also contribute to market intelligence, prepare client-facing materials, and support events and roadshows. This opportunity is ideal for a commercially driven professional who thrives in capital markets and enjoys building trust-based advisory relationships.
Accountabilities
Develop and execute a territory business plan in collaboration with senior sales leadership to grow market share within assigned regions. Conduct proactive outreach to investment advisors, portfolio managers, and institutional firms to generate new business opportunities. Educate and support financial professionals on investment products, market insights, and portfolio solutions. Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with advisors, brokers, and dealers to drive engagement and product adoption. Support preparation for client meetings, presentations, roadshows, and industry events. Provide timely updates on market trends, fund performance, and investment opportunities to current and prospective clients. Maintain accurate CRM records and track sales activities, pipeline progress, and client interactions. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure a high level of client service and consistent communication.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in investment management, financial services, or capital markets sales. Post-secondary degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field. Completion of CSC or CFA Level I (required). Strong understanding of capital markets, exempt market investments, and financial advisory ecosystems. Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with financial advisors and institutional clients. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills in both English and French (required). Strong sales mindset with experience in proactive outreach and relationship-based selling. Highly organized with strong CRM discipline (e.g., Salesforce or similar tools). Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working in a performance-driven environment. CFA, CFP, or CIM designation considered an asset.
