Lead Restoration Technician

Adecco is actively seeking a Lead Restoration Technician in Calgary, AB, to provide hands-on leadership in responding to water, fire, smoke, and mold emergencies. In this full-time role, you will oversee restoration projects, mentor technicians, and ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently in line with IICRC standards. Responsibilities:
- Respond quickly to emergencies such as water, fire, and smoke damage; assess damage and assign tasks to technicians.
- Carry out all restoration work in compliance with IICRC guidelines and company policy (water, fire, mold remediation).
- Provide on-site leadership and mentorship to technicians.
- Ensure all work situations are safe and in compliance with company policy.
- Maintain vehicles fully equipped with necessary tools, equipment, and consumables.
- Keep the shop bay organized and maintain adequate stock of consumables.
- Ensure accurate paperwork and record-keeping for all jobs.
- Maintain clean, sanitary equipment and ensure PPE is available and used properly.
- Perform restoration work independently and accurately record activities.
- Support leadership duties, including intake of after-hours emergency calls.
- Comply with all Red Dot Restoration safety policies, procedures, and practices.
Requirements:
- Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
- Industry experience preferred but not required.
- Current IICRC tickets are a strong asset.
- Able to lead and work effectively in a team environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Able to remain calm under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Skilled in multi-tasking and prioritizing.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Willing to submit to a criminal background check.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Comfortable working in various conditions (hot, cold, wet, dusty).
- Able to work Monday-Friday with on-call responsibilities (evenings/weekends).
- Willing to work mandatory on-call, overtime, and weekends as needed.
