Job Summary
The Project Lead, Engineering (PLE) supports the client’s Engineering Services department by coordinating engineering activities for capital sustainment and other projects. Acting as the central point of contact between Project Management (PMO), Operations, and engineering disciplines, the PLE ensures alignment on scope, schedule, and deliverables. This role focuses on coordination, not design responsibility, while driving communication, documentation control, and milestone achievement.
Responsibilities

Coordinate engineering resources across multiple disciplines to meet project objectives.

Collaborate with Engineers of Record (EORs) to maintain schedules and manage scope changes.

Organize and lead project engineering meetings; track deliverables using Primavera or similar tools.

Ensure timely documentation for shop, field, and energization requirements.

Maintain clear and consistent communication with PMO, EORs, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical/project management experience.

Experience: Minimum 5 years in engineering or construction project management.

Professional registration (EIT, P.Eng.) considered an asset.
Skills
- Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera, Asana, Jira).
Abilities
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for clear stakeholder engagement; ability to convey technical information effectively to non-technical audiences; skilled in facilitating meetings and fostering collaboration across teams.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with a proactive approach; strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure; adaptable and resilient in dynamic project environments; demonstrates leadership through influence rather than authority.
Knowledge
