Position Overview
Intrahealth is seeking a DevOps Engineer fluent in AI-augmented development to build and evolve the infrastructure and delivery systems behind our flagship EMR platform. You will own the Kubernetes-based infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code that enable our engineering team to ship with speed and confidence.
Our ideal candidate sees AI-augmented development as core to how they work, not an experiment. You are proactive and technically deep in cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, and automation, with fluency in AI coding tools and agentic workflows. You treat continuous learning as a core professional skill, staying current with rapidly evolving tools, techniques, and platform paradigms. You are a strong problem solver, an excellent communicator, and you thrive in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.

- CI/CD & Delivery: Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines that enable fast, safe, and repeatable deployments. Automate everything from build to production, manual gates are the exception, not the rule.
- AI-Augmented Delivery: Leverage AI coding tools and agentic workflows as a core part of your work to accelerate infrastructure automation, pipeline development, and operational problem solving.
- Infrastructure as Code: Define and manage infrastructure using Terraform and related IaC tooling. Ensure environments are reproducible, version-controlled, and auditable.
- Observability & Reliability: Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems. Ensure system health visibility and drive reliability improvements through data, not guesswork.
- Security & Compliance: Embed security practices into infrastructure and pipelines. Support compliance requirements relevant to healthcare data across multiple jurisdictions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to remove friction from the delivery process. Partner with external infrastructure providers to plan, coordinate, and deliver platform work. Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Demonstrated fluency with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code ) and agentic workflows.
- 7+ years of industry experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or infrastructure roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, troubleshooting, cluster management).
- Strong proficiency with Terraform or equivalent infrastructure-as-code tooling.
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar).
- Strong scripting and automation skills (Bash, Python, or Go).
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS or GCP acceptable).
- Solid understanding of networking, DNS, load balancing, and container security.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency with Git-based version control systems.

- Experience with agentic orchestration, harness engineering, or automated development pipelines.
- Experience with healthcare, EMR, or regulated environments (PHIPA/PIPEDA).
