About the role
Bison Drivers are paid every week, on time! This truck share position is running open board within Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan, with some Manitoba as required.
- Working 5 days on, 2 days off, 5 days on, 3 days off rotating schedule
- Hours and days of work might change from time to time according to operational demands. Regional work will be required
- Overnight trips are required; will be on the road up to four nights per week
- Additional work might be available upon request in spare unit in home daily capacity
- Average of 400 to 500 miles per day
- Non-smoking truck share unit
Candidate Profile:
- Company Driver with 24 months of tractor-trailer experience
- Must have a valid Class 1/AZ license
- Must be able to work weekends
- Must be able to drive Highways 1 & 3 in B.C. 12 months a year
- Must be able to drive to Thomson, MB 12 months a year
- Must be able to lift 50 lb. or more
- Must be willing to haul all commodities including meat and alcohol
- Must have reefer experience
- CP Rail and container experience is required
- Reliable, flexible, and punctual
- Strong communication skills
- Values safety
