About the role
The City of Humboldt is currently seeking to a Permanent, Part-time Customer Service Representative based at the Humboldt Uniplex. This position will be scheduled between 15 and 30 hours per week.
This position will work as part of a team of Administrative staff members within the Humboldt Uniplex. The Administration team is responsible for many of the day-to-day core functions of the City and works closely with Management and other City staff.
The position provides customer services including, but not limited to; receiving admissions, payments, registrations, rental bookings, and responding to public inquiries. The position will assist in maintaining records and files for the City and provide support services for the department operations.
Qualifications:

Certificate or Diploma in Office Administration or a related field of study

Proficiency in Computer Software; booking programs, registration programs, word processing, spreadsheets, and accounting

Ability to provide record keeping, administration, and filing

Team player with excellent communication and customer service skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Satisfactory Criminal Record Check
Compensation & Hours of Work:
- This is an in-scope (union) position with a starting wage of $21.64/hour (2025 rate)
- Employees are eligible for the employer matched defined pension plan and a free leisure pass
- Hours of work will be primarily evening and weekend shifts
