Job Description Senior Commercial Contract Manager We are ready to take this game to the next level and need someone passionate to manage the relationship and contract with one of our key casino service providers. This will happen in a fast-paced environment, and you will be working closely with Service Providers, the Director Relationship Management and Business Partners.

YOUR ROLE IN THE GAME Reporting to the Director Relationship Management, you will be empowered to:

Collaboration and Partnerships

  • Engage with senior leaders within both the Service Provider organization and OLG
  • Collaborate and build relationships with both the Service Provider and internal business partners that promote the work environment that helps drive Service Provider revenue generation
  • Represent the Relationship Management team at all Operational Management Committees attended by the service provider and internal business partners
  • Manage service provider initiatives requiring OLG involvement to successful and timely implementation
  • Drive ownership and accountability of contract obligations with the Service Provider and Business Partners
  • Collaborate with other department teams on cross department initiatives.
  • Develop and deliver presentations and briefings on initiatives and contractual matters for management and senior leaders at both organizations

Contract Management

  • Proactively identify opportunities and/or risks and resolving at the earliest stage or escalate quickly contract-related issues, engaging the Director Relationship Management and Business Partners as necessary
  • Critically analyze and assess performance of the contractual relationship with Service Provider (e.g., revenue)
  • Coordinate and implement work strategies to successfully monitor the contract tasks and milestones.
  • Facilitate the interpretation of obligations and expectation setting in relation to obligations (e.g., Delivery acceptance criteria)
  • Facilitate the creation, development and execution of contract amendments and waivers in collaboration with Service Provider, Director Relationship Management and Business Partners
  • Track fulfillment of both OLG / SP obligations and quality of the deliverables
  • Take corrective action on instances of non-compliance to contract agreements, where necessary engage Director Relationship Management and key stakeholders to escalate issues, resolve and to avoid adverse impacts
  • Act as the primary point of contact on any breach of contract terms, obligations, and/or disputes that arise and assist in the generation of action plans to resolve
  • Gather and share insights with peers on how best to shape/optimize the contract
  • Generate trade-off analysis of potential business opportunity vs. OLG risk appetite
  • Evaluate circumstances and decisions from various perspectives to identify risks, solutions, and opportunities

Education & Experience WHAT YOU BRING TO THE GAME

  • University Degree in related discipline
  • 3-5 years of direct experience managing highly complex, performance-focused commercial contracts, accumulated broad business acumen and experience working with public sector contracts (preferred); Effectively managed relationships with senior leaders at third party organizations; Proven experience with issue management resolution and executing initiatives involving multiple stakeholders. Experience and comfort working with legal terminology related to service provider contracts, track record of previously collaborating and interfacing on contract related matters at the tactical level across multiple levels of an organization

Relevant Skills

  • Evidence of projecting a strong technical expertise and influence skills when communicating contract related topics to senior organization leaders both internally and externally; strong negotiating and interpersonal skills
