About the role
This role is ideal for a creative and technically skilled photographer passionate about capturing the essence of food and beverages. Based in Shawinigan, QC, you will work with top brand enterprise clients to produce high-quality images that showcase a variety of food items. The position requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to interpret client briefs, and a strong understanding of current food styling trends. You will be responsible for managing photo sessions from start to finish, ensuring each image meets the highest standards of quality and creativity. This opportunity may lead to ongoing projects based on performance and client satisfaction.
Deliverables
- Capture and deliver high-resolution images of food and beverage items according to client specifications
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for each shoot
- Set up and manage lighting, composition, and styling to achieve desired results
- Edit and retouch images using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom to ensure professional quality
- Organize and deliver final images within agreed timelines
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative techniques into shoots
Requirements
- Proven experience in food photography with a strong, relevant portfolio
- Proficiency in using professional photography equipment and studio lighting
- Advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom for post-production editing
- Excellent attention to detail and creative problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with clients
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Based in or able to travel to Shawinigan, QC as required
