Role : Compensation Analyst Duration: Contract – 18 months Location: Toronto – 4 Days(Hybrid)
Job Summary We are seeking a Compensation Analyst with 3+ years of experience to support compensation programs, market analysis, and compensation plan design. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, advanced Excel expertise, and experience working with compensation data and market intelligence.
Key Responsibilities Analyze compensation data and provide recommendations. Support the design, implementation, and evaluation of compensation programs and policies. Conduct market benchmarking and analyze market intelligence data. Assist with compensation planning, incentive plans, and salary reviews. Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations using advanced Excel. Identify opportunities for process improvements and enhance compensation processes. Collaborate with HR and business stakeholders to support compensation initiatives. Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and timely delivery of work.
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in compensation analysis or total rewards. Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query, formulas, data analysis). Experience with compensation analysis and market benchmarking. Understanding of market intelligence data and compensation surveys. Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications HRPA designation (or working toward it). CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) designation is an asset. Experience supporting compensation plan design and incentive programs.
