This is a high-impact role for a business development leader who can help support account planning and management and influence growth strategy. This is your chance to proactively build partnerships, help shape direction and drive health system-level impact. You’ll work closely with executive leadership to expand our reach, strengthen partnerships, and bring forward new ideas that evolve how care is delivered. This is a real opportunity to help shape strategy – not just respond to it. What you will do
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market analysis, referral trends, and competitive insights.
- Develop and execute growth strategies that expand partnerships across home healthcare and community sectors.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive revenue growth and long-term partnerships.
- Manage a healthy sales pipeline, including forecasting, CRM tracking, and opportunity progression.
- Lead and contribute to proposals, presentations, and RFP submissions.
- Represent CBI Home Health at industry events to strengthen our brand presence and expand our network.
- Collaborate with internal leaders to align business development strategies with operations and program development.
- Monitor account performance and ensure client satisfaction.
- Provide strategic input on service offerings, market positioning, and growth opportunities.
- Achieve agreed-upon revenue targets and support overall business growth objectives.
What you will need to be successful
- 7+ years of business development or sales experience, healthcare preferred
- Proven success achieving revenue targets and driving new business growth.
- Strong relationship-building skills, including executive-level engagement.
- Experience developing and managing accounts, pipelines, forecasting, and CRM systems.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to turn insights into action.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Data-driven approach to decision-making
- Collaborative self-starter with a proactive, results-oriented style
- Understanding of home and community care is an asset
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, Master’s is an asset
