Tasks

The Product Engineer ensures LTTS products meet compliance, quality, and cost targets while driving process improvements and TAT reductions. The role provides technical support across teams, audits repair processes and implements measures to enhance product reliability, efficiency and profitability.

  • Ensure product compliance by reviewing ESM/RD documents, updating work instructions, and auditing repair processes.
  • Maintain product quality through CTQ metrics, best practices, TPM checks, problem investigations, and reporting non-conformances.
  • Drive process improvements to reduce repair costs and scrap rates, obtain approvals, implement changes, and monitor savings.
  • Identify and implement TAT reduction initiatives, tracking progress against targets.
  • Provide technical support to Team, Production, Commercial, and Quality; issue inspection reports and release certificates.
  • Perform other duties as directed by the Engineering Manager.

Requirements

We are seeking a skilled Product Engineer with a strong technical background to support engine repair operations. The role requires analytical thinking, problem-solving, and process expertise to ensure high-quality, efficient, and reliable repair outcomes.

  • Degree in Production, Materials, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage complex, multi-disciplinary processes.
  • Structured approach to defining and qualifying process stability.
  • Knowledge of material science and LTTS processes an advantage.
  • Competent communication and report writing skills.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in production or process engineering.
  • Project management experience an advantage; results-oriented and able to work independently.
  • Flexibility to provide technical support outside normal hours.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation.
  • Experience with process improvement, quality metrics, and compliance standards.
  • Proactive mindset to identify risks and implement corrective actions.
