The Visual Merchandising (VM) function is responsible for developing and implementing premium and elevated consumer experiences and product presentations for NSP Canada. The VM team works collaboratively across brand and Retailors Sport to develop product journeys, presentation strategies, seasonal direction and playbooks that set the standard and create a distinct point of view for the Nike at retail.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a curious, driven, and passionate person who loves retail and has a deep understanding of the role Visual Merchandising plays in delivering the ultimate consumer experience at retail. This individual should be able to demonstrate proven VM expertise, think strategically, and is a strong collaborator that can work seamlessly across functions. This requires them to be effective communicator and creative thought-partner who possesses the ability to influence decision-making. The ideal candidate loves working in a fast-paced, ever-evolving, positive and collaborative team environment.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
You will work cross-functionally to align strategies and priorities and ensure store teams have the information and tools they need to enable flawless execution. Projects and deliverables you will work on include, but are not limited to:
VM presentation direction & tools for seasonal and brand moments.
Support in store VM during seasonal and initiative executions.
Deep partnership with Retail Brand and Retail Marketing team in the development of seasonal plans.
Collaboration with Merchandising on seasonal assortments and key looks.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING
Possess a clear passion for the art and science of visual merchandising.
A love for team, collaboration and creative thinking.
Strong visual background with previous experience in a vertical retail environment and providing VM direction catered for a large fleet of retail locations at an accelerated pace.
Experience working cross-functionally within a large team.
Can-do demeanor with the shown ability to adapt to changes in business needs or direction.
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Design or related field or 4-6 years' experience in Visual Merchandising in lieu of a degree.
Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
Confident presentation and computer skills with experience using of Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Keynote, Mac proficiency strongly preferred.
Ability to travel to stores across Canada – flexibility in hours and time in retail.
The annual base compensation for this position generally ranges from CAD $71.1K to $106.7K annually. Actual compensation will vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and experience.
