Overview of the Role
We are looking for a part-time receptionist at our Canadian Division Head Office. This person will essentially be responsible for the reception area, i.e. welcoming and orienting visitors, as well as managing the various telephone calls that may be received.
The ideal candidate will be agile, attentive to detail and eager to contribute to the success of our team.
Salary:
Wages start at $21/hour ****Salary offers will vary commensurate with experience, education, skills, and training.****
Flexible working hours:
We value work-life balance and understand that flexibility is essential to achieve this. This role offers a flexible schedule and variable hours.
2 days per week, variable days (mostly Mondays and Tuesdays), and must be available to cover for vacation and sick days.
How you will make contributions that matter:
- Greet and direct visitors with professionalism and courtesy
- Handle incoming and outgoing telephone calls
- Perform various administrative and office support tasks
- Sort and distribute incoming & outcoming mail
- Perform all other related tasks.
You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent training
- Experience as a receptionist or administrative clerk
- Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously with precision and efficiency
- Good level of experience with IT tools and office software (MS Office, etc.)
- Professional attitude and impeccable customer service
- Bilingualism (French and English) in oral and written communication is essential, as the candidate will be required to answer incoming calls in both French and English.
