Your role
As a Tactical Security Guard, you are the first line of defense — and the first to help. You’ll:
- Engage with the public compassionately , especially individuals from vulnerable sectors, showing empathy and respect in every interaction
- Work in the heart of Dowtown Toronto across different parking facilities
- De-escalate conflicts calmly using sound judgment, communication, and situational awareness
- Act as a first responder , providing immediate support in medical or crisis situations until emergency services arrive
- Patrol parking environments — including lots, stairwells, and exteriors — to maintain a visible and reassuring presence
- Monitor alarms and surveillance systems , ensuring equipment is functional and incidents are addressed promptly
- Deliver professional customer service , assisting clients and visitors with inquiries or concerns
- Document incidents and coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services as required

What you bring
- Authorization to work in Canada
- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certification - WSIB approved
- Ability to stand and patrol for 12-hour shifts
- Ability to conduct interior and exterior patrols in extreme weather conditions
- Minimum 1 year of tactical experience engaging with members of the vulnerable population
- Police Foundations diploma or previous police/military experience (strong asset)
- Availability of day and night shifts throughout the week
