Instrumentation and Control Technician - (Sussex, New Brunswick, Canada)
New Brunswick division is currently posting the following vacancy:
There is one (1) Instrumentation and Control Technician position available, which reports to the Site Electrical Supervisor.
What you will do:
- Installation and maintenance of instrumentation control loops
- Installation of Ethernet and Fiber Optic communication
- Measure accuracy of flow, level, pressure, density, vibration and temperature, etc.
- Programming and configuration on Delta V DCS
- Develop and maintain loop drawings using Auto Cad
- Routine maintenance such as calibration and configuration will be performed on transmitters and valves
- Accountable for the time, quality, and cost of the above tasks
What you will bring:
- Instrumentation and Control Technician Certificate of Qualification, Instrumentation Engineering Diploma or Journeyperson Red Seal
- Experience working in an industrial environment is preferred
- Positive Safety behavior and safety guidance
- Ability to work safely and effectively in a team environment as well as self-guided
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to interact positively with co-workers and supervisors
- Willingness to learn and gain adequate knowledge and experience through training
- Ability to make and implement decisions under all conditions
