About the role
BCIT’s School of Health Sciences is currently seeking a temporary, part time (0.5 FTE**) Faculty** in the Medical Radiography Technology Program. The successful candidate will have comprehensive teaching roles in the online and face to face learning environment and will be an integral part of the Medical Radiography team. Instructors will be responsible for course preparation, delivery, evaluation, and facilitation of learning as well as the coordination of learning activities.

Duties & Responsibilities
DUTIESANDRESPONSIBILITIES**:**

Coordination of learning activities through course preparation, delivery, evaluation, and facilitation.

Positively participate and actively contribute in all assigned lab activities, including providing students with constructive feedback and objective assessments.

Effective participation in all aspects of departmental governance.

Student centered approach to teaching and learning.

Collaborative approach to work in a dynamic academic and clinical environment.

Engage in departmental operations (program meetings, special events, etc.)

Participate in school wide learning opportunities and activities.

Actively seek and participate in lifelong learning opportunities.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS**:**

The qualifications represent the minimum qualifications required in the future (i.e. to be reflected in job postings) and do not reflect the incumbent’s existing qualifications.
Education:
- Diploma in Medical Radiography
License(s)/Certifications(s):
- Current registration with CAMRT
Experience:
- Strong interpersonal skills to work with students and program team members.
- Relevant experience in a broad range of medical imaging environments, within the last 5 years.
- Working knowledge with all MS Office Business Productivity Tools, various meeting platforms and learning management systems (LMS).
- Documentation related to continuing education in the field.
- Evidence of interest in teaching.
- Flexibility in teaching subject matter, workload, and scheduling.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Baccalaureate science degree or graduate degree
- Advanced practice certification (CT, IR, Mammography, QC)
- Diploma in Adult Education or equivalent

Salary Range: $65,045 - $113,545 per annum.
