We invite applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in New Testament at the rank of Professor, beginning August 1, 2026. The successful candidate will hold a PhD in New Testament or a closely related discipline, with demonstrated expertise in Pauline studies and the interpretation of Pauline literature within historical, literary, theological and cross-cultural contexts. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team committed to theological excellence, spiritual formation, and global engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach graduate and doctoral courses.
- Engage in ongoing scholarly research and publication.
- Contribute to curriculum development and accreditation processes.
- Participate actively in committee service.
- Mentor and support students in their academic and spiritual formation.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated teaching ability.
- Qualities of character and personality expected in a teacher and counselor of students, and other Christian virtues.
- Demonstrated commitment to ministry.
- Evidence of theological competence in the handling of scripture.
- Academic credentials and a record of research and peer-reviewed scholarship sufficient for appointment at the rank of Professor.
- Experience engaging global Christian communities, cross-cultural contexts, or international scholarly networks.
